NFL/KANSAS CITY CHIEFS: Chiefs DT Chris Jones Makes Request After Dolphins Release Tyreek Hill…READ MORE
Hill signed a four-year, $120 million contract extension with Miami in 2022. 2026 was the final scheduled year of his contract with the Dolphins.

However, before the contract ended, he was released by Miami just days before the new league year began on March 11. Keeping Hill could have cost the Dolphins a cap hit of $51.1 million, with $11 million fully guaranteed.
Now Hill’s an unrestricted free agent, and the news has reached Kansas City defensive tackle Chris Jones. What does Jones do? He sends out a loud call to the wideout to come back home.
Jones tweeted “@cheetah it’s [alarm clock emoji],” signaling the wide receiver that it’s time to return to the franchise that picked him first in the NFL and to reunite with his friend aka draft buddy, Chris Jones.
