Both epicenters were located near Mount Tom in the Leesville area of East Haddam.
While Connecticut State Police received several reports of loud noises near Great Hillwood Road and Falls Bashan Road, no damage has been reported.
Residents in surrounding towns, including Colchester, East Hampton, Haddam, and Portland, also reported feeling the “weak” shaking.
Troop K received several reports of a loud noise in the area of Great Hillwood Road and Falls Bashan Road and adjacent roads in East Haddam.
Troopers patrolled the area and no findings have been discovered at this time,” according to Connecticut State Police.
