FAME HONOR: Brittany Mahomes celebrates UT Tyler Hall of Fame honor as her college legacy comes full circle….READ MORE
The NFL season did not end the way the Kansas City Chiefs hoped, but the Mahomes family has now found a reason to celebrate.

Brittany Mahomes received a major honor from a place that helped shape her long before life in the spotlight. On Friday, the University of Texas at Tyler announced its Athletics Hall of Fame class for 2026, and Brittany’s name stood out among the inductees.
Mahomes, known during her college years as Brittany Matthews, played women’s soccer for the UT Tyler Patriots from 2013 to 2016. She finished her career second all-time in total points with 78 and goals with 31.
Her senior season remains one of the best the program has seen, as she recorded 40 points and 18 goals, numbers that still stand as a benchmark.
