With the 2024 NFL season in full swing, all eyes are unsurprisingly on the Kansas City Chiefs. The two-time reigning Super Bowl champions are off to a 3-0 start, but not without some controversy. They’ve won all three of their games so far, despite one of their star players, Travis Kelce, not contributing much in the box score.

Kelce doesn’t seem overly bothered by his lack of counting stats. After all, his team is undefeated and he can go home to his superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift. Kelce and Swift seem to be in a fantastic place together. Swift has already ingrained herself into the Kelce family. The next step might be a full Thanksgiving spent together, at least according to Jason Kelce on a recent podcast episode.

Jason mentions that “we’re all going to KC for Thanksgiving”. The Chiefs play on Black Friday during the day, giving the family time on Thursday and Friday nights to meet. Jason wants to play board games with Travis and the whole family, but there’s a catch, according to Travis.

Jason then pleads to Chiefs head coach Andy Reid to “get this guy going” so he can play Mafia with him. Travis has notably struggled to produce to his high expectations so far this season, and it sounds like that has Travis solely focused on winning and getting it figured out.

A loss against the Las Vegas Raiders in that Friday game could ruin the whole mood of Thanksgiving. Travis is too competitive to take even a regular season loss lightly.
