On July 24, Affleck received possession of his new home, which is a picturesque residence situated on two-thirds of an acre in Sullivan Canyon.
The home offers opulent living quarters with a guest room, spa, and swimming pool.
Before making this acquisition, Affleck had been renting a $100,000-per-month home in Brentwood for more than two months.
Affleck and Lopez made a discreet attempt to sell their Beverly Hills home back in June, but they were unable to find a buyer.
On July 11, they formally placed it on the market. The mansion tax, real estate fees, and the several million dollars spent on renovations are all reflected in the high asking price.
It looks difficult to break even on this deal, though. Lopez is allegedly looking for a new place to live, which suggests that she and Affleck are getting further apart.
