Breaking News: “I’ve been retired more than a decade and he’s still doing this” – Michael Redd can’t believe than LeBron is still on an elite level…see more
Lebron James is playing his 23rd NBA season, and judging by the last few games, he has fully warmed up after starting a bit slower, which is completely understandable given his age and the fact that he was returning from an injury that, for the first time in 23 seasons, caused him to miss a season opener.

In total, King James has missed 17 games this season, and due to the league’s 65-game rule, he will almost certainly be ineligible for individual awards, such as MVP and All-NBA honors. Additionally, for the first time since 2005, he could miss out on being named an All-Star starter.
Redd entered the league three years before James, a four-time NBA champion who has been retired for 14 years, which only adds to the amazement when considering James’ longevity.
The two faced each other 22 times during their careers, with the current Los Angeles Lakers forward holding a 13–9 advantage in wins.
