News Flash: Taylor Swift Fans Think There’s a Hidden Message in Her Chiefs Game Day Outfit
After Taylor Swift arrived at Arrowhead Stadium to support boyfriend Travis Kelce during the first official game of the 2024 NFL season rocking “those boots,” her loyal fans were seemingly given reason to believe her decision to wear them was more than just a fashion choice but her way of sending a subtle message.
As Parade previously reported, the 14-time Grammy winner was seen making her way through the Chiefs’ home stadium in Kansas City, Mo., on Sept. 5 wearing a denim corset top and a pair of matching shorts. But it wasn’t so much her ensemble as it was the accessories that spoke to Swifties, more specifically, her pair of thigh-high leather statement boots in her signature shade of red.

In a TikTok video uploaded shortly after the “So High School” songstress was spotted at the game on Thursday, one Swiftie suggested that the 34-year-old pop superstar was wearing, if not the same pair, boots nearly identical to the ones she famously wore in her music video for “Look What You Made Me Do,” from her 2017 album reputation.
“If you saw Taylor Swift’s Chiefs game day opener outfit and immediately had deja vu, you are not alone,” the fan began before admitting after seeing the boots, they thought of “one thing and one thing only.”
The video then cuts to a screenshot of the Eras Tour artist’s music video in question, where the singer appears to be wearing the same boots. Though the fan noted that they hadn’t gotten solid confirmation the two were of the same cloth, the boots in the music video don’t appear until “she is literally in the vault, stealing back what should be hers, and saying that all she thinks about is karma.”

“Whether or not they are exactly the same,” the Swiftie continued, “they are certainly highly reminiscent of each other.”
“There is just absolutely no denying that these boots remind us all so much of the boots from the reputation music video,” the creator added, listing a few visible differences between the two pairs of red boots. “I’m not saying it necessarily means anything, but I’m also not saying that it doesn’t mean anything.”
