Breaking News: A senior Iranian commander has made a striking claim that is quickly drawing attention across the region. IRGC General Mohsen Rezaei says Iran has managed to “blind” U.S. forces in the Persian Gulf following recent strikes that reportedly targeted American radar and communications systems….see more
According to Rezaei, the damage has significantly disrupted U.S. monitoring capabilities in the area. In a sharply worded statement, he went as far as saying the situation has left Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “trapped in a slaughterhouse,” while hinting that Iran could soon deliver what he called “much more joyful news” in the coming weeks.
Despite the dramatic rhetoric, the full picture remains unclear. Initial reports suggest that some U.S. radar and communications sites in the region may indeed have been hit during Iranian operations, but the scale of the impact has not yet been independently confirmed.
At the same time, several viral images circulating online that appear to show massive destruction of U.S. bases have already been identified by analysts as AI-generated or misleading, raising concerns about misinformation spreading during the conflict.
Defense experts say Iran may be experimenting with a different kind of tactic. Instead of direct large-scale strikes, Tehran could be deploying swarms of drones designed to overwhelm sophisticated radar systems.
Because these defense systems are extremely expensive and limited in number, waves of smaller drones could potentially create temporary blind spots in air defenses.
For now, the key question remains unanswered. Is Iran demonstrating a genuine shift in military capability that could change the balance of power in the Gulf, or are these claims part of a broader psychological strategy aimed at influencing perceptions and rattling opponents?
